Nous expliquons pourquoi Lupasco a qualifié l’art de Salvador Dalí par le vocable « subréalisme ». La relation de Lupasco avec Benrath et Appel est également évoquée. Nous finissons notre étude en analysant le rapport ente la psychanalyse et le tiers inclus de Lupasco. L’idée forte de Lupasco est que la conscience est associée au processus de potentialisation, tandis que l’inconscience est associée à l’actualisation. |

| Summary, etc. | Stéphane Lupasco, Surrealism and Subrealism. André Breton was among the first to seize upon the importance of the logic of contradiction in the work of Stéphane Lupasco (1900-1988). This article examines why Lupasco used the term ‘Subrealism’ to qualify the art of Salvador Dalí. The relationship bewteen Lupasco, Benrath and Appel is also discussed, as is the relationship between psychoanalysis and the included third in Lupasco’s thinking. Lupasco’s main idea is that consciousness is associated with the process of potentialisation, while the unconscious is linked with that of actualisation. |
