| Summary, etc. | Cet article invite à questionner la notion de lien social à partir d’une situation qui se situe à ses marges : celle des demandeurs d’asile. La demande d’asile instaure une attente que l’on peut comprendre comme attente d’un nouveau lien social, en un nouveau lieu. Nous développons ce point à partir du cas de Joseph et en référence à la figure du Nebenmensch en tant que prochain qui ouvre la possibilité d’un lien social pour le sujet en même temps qu’il lui fait une place dans le monde. |

| Summary, etc. | Asylum Seeking – Waiting for the Spatial Manifestation of the Social Bond? This article explores the notion of the social bond from the marginalised position of asylum seekers. Those seeking asylum find themselves in a position in which they must wait – wait for a new social bond and a new space in which to live. This article examines the case of Joseph in the light of the figure of the Nebenmensch, a neighbour who, in making room for the subject within the world and giving him a place, also thereby opens up the possibility for him to become an integral part of the social bond. |
