| Summary, etc. | L’analyse du discours de trois Pères de L’Église latine, saint Ambroise, Saint Jérôme, Saint Augustin, permet de dégager une définition complexe de la virginité, et met en évidence le statut de femmes d’exception des vierges des premiers temps chrétiens. D’après ce discours, ces épouses du Christ apparaissent comme des femmes libres, ayant certes renoncé à l’amour charnel, mais pas à leur sexualité, qui relève du fantasme. |
