| Summary, etc. | À partir d’une analyse esthético-politique d’une œuvre d’art réalisée pendant la dictature chilienne, nous étudierons les rapports complexes établis entre l’art et le pouvoir. L’étude du discours aliénant du régime et de ses implications subjectives et politiques nous permettra de comprendre comment l’œuvre d’art s’inscrit dans le socius, en opposant aux silences et à la négation du discours d’État un travail de figurabilité qui favorise tant la prise de conscience que la construction mémorielle. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper sets forward an aesthetic-cum-political analysis of a work of art produced during the Chilean dictatorship as a means of exploring the complex relationship between art and power. Study of the regime’s alienating discourse and its subjective and political implications will enable us to understand what role works of art play within the socius by setting up a process of figurability allowing for realisation and memorial construction in opposition to the silences and negation of State discourse. |
