Summary, etc. | A partir d’une pratique de consultation en pédopsychiatrie, et autour d’un thème fréquemment rencontré, celui des difficultés des parents à exercer leur autorité sur leurs enfants, nous avons réfléchi aux modifications récentes de conceptions de l’autorité, et aux pratiques éducatives que ces modifications entraînent. Cette réflexion est illustrée par des vignettes cliniques et des outils concrets de travail avec les parents autour de cette notion. |

Summary, etc. | New representations of authorities in parents-chidren relationship.This text is based upon observations made in a child psychiatry consultation service. It examines a near ubiquitous problem: the difficulties parents encounter in excercising their authority upon their children. Our reflection is informed by recent revisions to the concept of authority and its pedagogical implications. The paper uses case studies and an analysis of results obtained from specific interventions with parents to further our understanding of this important issue. |
