| Summary, etc. | Confrontés aux crises épidémiques que les conditions sanitaires de la Grande Guerre exacerbent, les pays de l’Entente se dotent d’un organe de coopération scientifique en matière d’hygiène de guerre, la Commission sanitaire interalliée, qui fonctionne de 1916 à 1920 sous la tutelle de l’administration française. Tout en émanant de la tradition des conférences sanitaires du xixe siècle, cette instance collaborative en diffère en faisant de la démarche scientifique (statistiques, expérimentation) et du partage d’expériences la clé de voûte de son action durant le conflit. |

| Summary, etc. | In response to the epidemic crises that were worsening under the poor sanitary conditions of World War I, the members of the Entente Alliance set up a sanitary commission, an allied health commission, which worked under French administration from 1916 to 1920. While this collaborative project originated in a tradition grounded in the diplomatic sanitary conferences of the 19th century, it differed from this tradition by grounding its actions during the war on scientific approaches (statistics, experimentation) and on the sharing of war experiences. |
