| Summary, etc. | Les représentations dominantes des animaux oscillent entre deux pôles : à un extrême se trouvent les animaux méprisés, exploités, objectivés, torturés, exterminés, tandis qu’à l’autre se rencontre une célébration des relations symbiotiques et d’identification, comme si tous les vivants appartenaient à une même grande famille. L’art contemporain n’échappe pas toujours à cette architecture générale. Je propose cependant de rechercher une troisième voie dont la portée serait plus éducative que celle des deux autres. |
