| Summary, etc. | Cet article propose de montrer comment un programme de recherche en formation professionnelle initiale, fondé sur les principes et les ressources de l’analyse interactionnelle, peut contribuer à éclairer des difficultés que rencontrent les formateurs à la pratique professionnelle dans le quotidien de leur travail. En particulier, nous montrons comment les données empiriques ont fait l’objet d’une exploitation analytique, comment certains concepts issus de la recherche sur les apprentissages au travail ont permis de construire des liens entre des problématiques langagières et des questions de formation, comment un outil diagnostique a pu être proposé à partir de ces catégories théoriques, et enfin comment des formateurs en formation se sont approprié cet outil diagnostique pour interroger leurs propres pratiques professionnelles. |

| Summary, etc. | This paper seeks to investigate possible connections between vocational education and training research and training programs addressed to vocational trainers and workplace supervisors. Based on an interactional and multimodal perspective on workplace learning, the paper shows how video-based data can be used, both as a research material informing about training and learning processes, and as a pedagogical tool helping professionals to provide expansive learning environments in the workplace and to become more reflexive about their role in assisting apprentices to accomplish consistent transitions into working lives. |
