L’armée française possède alors une expérience unique de la guerre et va participer à la formation des unités américaines. Ce transfert d’expérience à travers l’instruction prodiguée est associé à la fourniture par la France de matériels lourds (artillerie, chars, avions) et doit être compris comme un outil d’influence. |
