| Summary, etc. | L’intervention russe en Crimée en février 2014 eut pour conséquence une aggravation de la relation entre l’Organisation du Traité de l’Atlantique Nord (OTAN) et la Fédération de Russie. Les deux anciens adversaires de la Guerre froide se lançant dans une posture de confrontation militaire symbolique, la tension s’accrût rapidement. La Baltique va rapidement devenir un des espaces privilégié de cette opposition, notamment avec l’augmentation du nombre d’interceptions effectuées par les pilotes de la NATO Baltic Air Policing sur des appareils russes, engendrant ainsi une situation potentiellement crisogène. |

| Summary, etc. | The Russian intervention in Crimea in February 2014 had resulted in a worsening of the relationship between the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) and the Russian Federation. As the two former adversaries of the Cold War slid towards a symbolic military confrontation, the tension grew rapidly. The Baltic soon became one of the main areas of this confrontation, especially with the increasing of the interceptions of Russian aircrafts by NATO Baltic Air policing’s pilots, creating tensions that made a crisis even more probable than before. |
