| Summary, etc. | Au lendemain de la seconde guerre mondiale, la défense du territoire italien doit être réorganisée. Le nouveau déploiement de l’armée recycle les éléments fortifiés du mur alpin. Confirmant l’organisation miliaire héritée de l’Unité italienne à la fin du xixe siècle, il concentre dans les provinces du nord l’essentiel des forces terrestres destinées à contenir le choc d’une invasion. La fin de la Guerre froide a conduit à une importante remise en cause des déploiements militaires au profit des provinces centrales et méridionales. Pour les régions du nord et notamment la région du Frioul Vénétie-Julienne débute un long processus de reconversion des infrastructures militaires abandonnées. |

| Summary, etc. | After the World War II, the defence of the Italian territory must be reorganized. The new deployment recycled a part of the fortified elements of the Alpine wall. It concentrates the essence of the land forces to contain the shock of invasion in the northern provinces. The end of the Cold War has led to an important questioning of military deployments for the benefit of the central and southern provinces. For the northern regions, including the province of Friuli – Venezia Guilia begins long process of reconversion of the abandoned military infrastructures. |
