Summary, etc. | Nous interrogeons, dans cette étude, les effets d’un dispositif qui immerge des élèves de quatrième au collège dans les activités de laboratoires de recherche dans la perspective d’élaboration d’une énigme scientifique. Nous examinons comment la mise en récit peut articuler la lecture (le lire) et l’expression structurée de la pensée (le dire) des élèves dans un processus continu qui favorise le raisonnement scientifique. Nous prenons appui sur des questionnaires avec les enseignants et les élèves, ainsi que sur les énigmes produites pour identifier les incidences sur la motivation et l’engagement des élèves ainsi que sur la mise en lien et la structuration des connaissances et des pratiques Ainsi, les cadres du récit ont constitué des points d’appui pour questionner en particulier les mises en relations causales essentielles dans la maîtrise de la langue et de la démarche d’investigation. |

Summary, etc. | In this study, we examine the effects of a learning modality that involves thirteen years olds students in research laboratory activities with the aim to develop a scientific enigma. We look for ways in which storytelling can articulate students’reading (reading) and structured expression of thought (telling) during a continuous process that promotes scientific reasoning. We use questionnaires with teachers and students, as well as enigmas produced to identify impacts on student motivation, engagement, and also linking and structuring knowledge and practices. Thus, the narrative framework constituted an interesting tool to question in particular the causal relationships essential in the mastery of the language and in the investigation process. |
