RésuméL’espace, notamment urbain, est une constitutive forte de la relation de communication. L’organisation de cet espace peut donc se charger d’une dimension narrative, notamment quand il s’agit d’un environnement qui se dote technologiquement d’éléments, de symboles et d’information importées et valorisé in situ. La fonction cognitive de l’architecture est de constituer un environnement propice à l’éclosion de symboles, de langage, de discours et, ce faisant, de communication, ciment des communautés.

Space, especially urban, is a strong part of the relation of communication. The organisation of this space can thus have a narrative dimension, notably when this environment technologically acquires elements, symbols and information imported and valorised in situ. The cognitive function of architecture is to build an environment favourable to the forming of symbols, language & discourses, forms of communication that bind communities.
