RésuméMoles nous invite, dans cet article, à interroger le rôle de l’intellectuel dans la complexité des sociétés postmodernes. Les enjeux pressentis pour l’intellectuel dans sa fonction créatrice et les limites de ses possibles champs d’action font de lui un des acteurs incontournables d’une des cités qui composent le monde social. En faisant l’état des lieux de la société intellectuelle, l’auteur rend compte de la nécessité pour ces derniers de rester connectés au monde social réel.
