Cet article envisage la question de la démocratie à partir de ce que l’auteur appelle « l’imagination participative ». Pour ce faire, après avoir repris brièvement un débat bien engagé depuis une vingtaine d’années autour de la démocratie représentative, il s’applique à définir les notions actuellement en vogue d’ « empowerment » et de « pouvoir d’agir ». La question de la participation est ensuite analysée dans le cadre de la loi 2002.2 (rénovant l’action sociale et médico-sociale). Il est enfin montré toute la pertinence du Dispositif Institutionnel mis en œuvre par la sociopsychanalyse et celle du concept d’ « actepouvoir » en ce qu’ils traduisent respectivement la dimension concrète de l’application du premier et l’imagination participative du second.

The article considers the issue of the democracy on the basis of that the author calls "the participative imagination". To do that, after taking up briefly a debate centered around the representative democracy, since about twenty years, he applies to definite the current buzzword of "empowerment" and "power to act". The question of the participation is next analized as part of the act.2002.2 (which is renovating the social action and medical and social action). Lastly this artical highligts the relevance of the institutional setting implemented by the sociopsychoanalysis and also the relevance of the "poweract" concept. They show respectively the practical dimension of the first one and the participative imagination, of the second.
