The purpose of this paper is to introduce the reader within the framework of the scientific works of Léon-H. Dupriez, leveraging on the contributions gathered in the current issue of Reflets et Perspectives . The survey looks into the different aspects of the publication. The first section is devoted to Dupriez’ most characteristic contribution, i.e. a masterpiece of economic epistemology. The following sections are addressing the issues of business cycles with their instabilities, of money and finance with their financial crises, of the vision of entrepreneurship and, finally, the understanding of a sustainable economic policy. The survey also offers a summary of the papers enclosed in this publication.
