Armand Hatchuel a formulé une théorie de l’action collective qui eut un succès considérable auprès des chercheurs en management car elle offre une puissante identité aux sciences de gestion. La condition nécessaire mais non suffisante de ce pari théorique est la sortie hors les métaphysiques de l’action. Nous examinons cette tentative en confrontant la théorie de l’action collective à l’œuvre du plus grand métaphysicien du XXe siècle, Martin Heidegger.

Is it really the end of metaphysics of action?Armand Hatchuel wrote a collective action theory that met a real success in the eyes of management researchers: it offers indeed a strong identity to the organization science. One of the conditions of this theory is to take the way out of the metaphysics of action. We look into this attempt from Heidegger’s point of view.
