Le but de cet article est de comprendre l’influence de la présence d’un animal de compagnie sur l’engagement organisationnel et le stress perçu par des salariés dans leur entreprise. Mobilisant une base théorique élargie intégrant les apports des Sciences de Gestion comme de la Psychologie, ce travail exploratoire souligne que l’animal de compagnie peut avoir un effet sur l’engagement organisationnel et le stress d’une partie du personnel révélant également un rôle de facilitateur social dans l’entreprise.

Does working with pet affect organizational commitment and stress?The purpose of this article is to understand the influence of the presence of a pet on the organizational commitment and the stress perceived by employees in their company. Mobilizing an expanded theoretical base integrating the contributions of Management Sciences and Psychology, this exploratory work emphasizes that pet animals can have an effect on the organizational commitment and stress of part of the staff, which also reveals a role of Facilitator in the company.
