Cet article étudie un des éléments du cadre de la situation analytique : la fin de la séance, en l’abordant de manière isolée, spécifique et surtout clinique. Après l’évocation des débats houleux provoqués par Jacques Lacan avec l’introduction du concept de scansion, sont présentés deux courts écrits de Sandor Ferenczi. Puis, plusieurs situations cliniques illustrant tout l’intérêt que nous pouvons porter à ces moments où une séance se termine, temps important de notre travail d’analyste.

This article studies one element in the analytic setting: the end of the session, by approaching it as a distinct, clinical subject. After recalling the debate that raged after Jacques Lacan introduced the concept of scansion, the author presents two short texts by Sandor Ferenczi. Next, several clinical situations illustrate what can be learned by taking a special interest in the moments at the end of a session, an important time in an analyst’s work.
