At a time when the need for intercultural skills is more and more asserted in a multicultural professional environment, the articulations between intercultural education and intercultural skills constitute an object of research still under construction, especially in the French-speaking literature. Using an intercultural approach in adult education, this article explores the correlation between, on the one hand, the development of intercultural skills, through the training of adults in intercultural communication, and on the other, capacities for transformation and transfer of these same skills in a multicultural professional environment. The research is based both on quantitative and qualitative data collected via a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview guide, from executives in international mobility and intercultural trainers in France. The main results of the study show how transformation takes place more in collective work rather than in isolated activity.
