This paper is based on a field study conducted in the Todgha valley, which has been experiencing upheavals in its agricultural activity for several decades, accelerated more recently by technical change and Moroccan public policies aimed at encouraging more entrepreneurial forms of farming. After outlining the main characteristics of our study area, we highlight some of the issues that can be identified in this valley in terms of water resource management.
