RésuméPartant du principe que l’homosexualité n’est pas une catégorie structurellement homogène, nous cherchons à démontrer à travers certains éléments de la cure analytique d’un de nos patients, comment la nature de son homosexualité a évolué, c’est-à-dire quitté une position relativement archaïque, de sorte qu’il a pu accéder à une véritable relation d’altérité avec un autre homme. Notre méthode a consisté en l’occurrence à laisser surgir certaines figures du double qui nous ont permis de ne jamais faire intervenir le sexe comme objet pour finalement laisser l’entière liberté à notre patient d’inscrire dans son existence une véritable relation de sujet à sujet dans une éthique de la différence.

Starting off from the principle that homosexuality is not a strictly homogeneous category, we seek to show through certain elements in the analytical cure of one of our patients, how the nature of his homosexuality changed, leaving behind a relatively archaic position, so that he managed to gain access to a true relation of otherness with another man. Our method here involved allowing certain figures of doubles to issue forth so that we never had to bring sex into matters as an object, so finally to leave our patient completely free to fit a true subject to subject relation into his life in a real ethics of difference.
