Commentcerner –étreindre–la notionde « beaux corps» alorsque lesentiment du corps se situe au plus intime de l’individu et que l’idée de la beauté est indissociable de la configuration attribuée aux valeurs fondamentales de chaque culture ? Certes les« beaux corps» connaissent unetraductionimagée, picturale ou statuaire, quia étéexaminée ici à grandesenjambées. Pourautant, la réponse n’est pas claire, si ce n’est que, inséparablement associés au vrai et au bien ou alors projection de l’ego, divinisés ou bien naturalisés, glorifiés ou bien voués à l’opprobre, à la dérision et même à la fragmentation, les « beaux corps», enjeux donc de toutes les polémiques, s’éprouvent pourtant comme tels à travers leurs métamorphoses mêmes.

How is it possible to understand – to fully master the concept of « beaux corps» when our body awareness is deeply rooted inside us and the idea of beauty is strongly related to the fundamentel moral and intellectual values of our civilisation ? Indeed,« beaux corps» have beenpictorially and sculpturally illustrated, wich have been briefly overviewed in this paper. However iconic transpositions have also to be explained and, therefore, the question remains. But, be they of materialistic or divine nature, closely linked to Truth and God or egoprojection, matter of shameorof glorification,« beauxcorps» are experienced as such in the complete range of their metamorphoses.
