À partir de demandes d’intervention psychiatrique en hôpital général, l’auteur attire l’attention sur l’attribution, a priori, de pathologies organiques médicales courantes dont la sémiologie comporte un trouble mental, à la psychopathologie, avant même toute investigation clinique médicale. Il lui semble y voir une modification du rapport entre le discours médical et le discours psychiatrique, et une utilisation du second par le premier qui paradoxalement ne se fait pas au service du patient, alors que la sensibilisation des médecins aux aspects psychiques de la maladie tentait de faire mieux valoir la dimension du sujet à l’hôpital. L’affaiblissement de la reflexion scientifique en médecine pourrait jouer un rôle dans ce phénomène.

From requests of psychiatric interventions in general hospital, the author tries to draw attention on the attribution at once to psychopathology, of current medical organic pathologys whose semiology involves a mental disorder, even previously to any kind of medical clinical investigation. This would denote a change in the usual relation between medical and psychiatric discourses, and a use of this one by that one which paradoxically does not benefit to the patient, when sensitization of physicians to psychological aspects of disease aimed a better consideration of the subject in hospital. Weakening of scientific reflection in medecine could play a part in this phenomenon.
