À partir de son expérience d’analyste au sein de la communauté analytique française, l’auteure propose d’interroger la dimension androcentrée et les logiques de domination de sexe qui infiltrent la théorie et l’histoire contemporaine du mouvement psychanalytique en France. Elle propose de réinscrire ces questions dans la controverse sur la question de la féminité qui partage cette communauté psychanalytique depuis un siècle.

The author of this paper draws on her experience as a psychoanalyst within the French analytical community to examine the androcentrism and domination of one sex over the other which have leached into the theory and contemporary history of the psychoanalytical movement in France. We will reinstate these questions as part of the controversy concerning the question of what it is to be female, an issue which has divided the psychoanalytical community over the last century.
