Résumé Les relations frères-sœurs possèdent des caractéristiques qui fondent la singularité des liens fraternels, par comparaison avec toute autre expérience relationnelle, autant qu’elles favorisent la multiplicité des formes que ces liens peuvent prendre. En accompagnant la fratrie au fil du cycle de vie fraternel et familial, c’est un véritable voyage exploratoire qui s’ouvre sous les yeux des intervenants sociaux.

Brothers and sisters relationships have characteristics founding the singularity of fraternal links, compare to other relational experiences. In the same time, those characteristics multiply the possible forms that these links can take. By following brothers and sisters during the family and fraternal life cycle, it is a real travel to unknown regions waiting for the social workers.
