It is of the utmost importance to know the operational process of transformation in the field of change management within organizations. Over continuous periods – updated periodically –, since the realization of a change requires in-depth work, expertise cannot be given by the current approaches to change management, notwithstanding their qualities and promises. This note problematizes this subject by showing that transformation and consequently change are always achieved by the transformations of the mental structures governing the functioning and management of organizations. It puts into perspective the impact of psychic transformations. JEL Codes: O1, O3

Il est de la plus haute importance de connaître le processus opératoire de la transformation dans le domaine de la conduite du changement au sein des organisations. Dès lors que la réalisation d’un changement impose un travail en profondeur, sur des durées continues, actualisées périodiquement, l’expertise ne peut être donnée par les approches courantes de la conduite du changement, nonobstant leurs qualités et leurs promesses. Cette note problématise ce sujet en montrant que la transformation et consécutivement le changement sont toujours réalisées par les transformations des structures mentales régissant le fonctionnement et le management des organisations. Elle met en perspective l’impact des transformations psychiques.
