Type de matériel :
92
This article presents an edition of the Franciscan master Eustache of Arras’(second half of the 13th century) second disputed question De divinarum personarum distinctione, preserved in two independent manuscripts (Città del Vaticano, Biblioteca Apostolica Vaticana, Borgh. lat. 139; Firenze, Biblioteca nazionale centrale, B. 6.912). The question concerns whether the Holy Spirit proceeds from two principles or only from one. This debate, discussed by Bonaventure, Thomas Aquinas and Peter of Tarentaise, is at the heart of the Second Council of Lyon in 1274.
