It aims to show how the singularity of this theoretical-practical field and its differences from the French current known as the “psychoanalytically oriented clinical approach to education science” results both from debates internal to the development of psychoanalysis in Brazil, the particularities of the education and training system of this country, and the idiosyncrasies specific to the Brazilian language.
