The authors examine the relevance of institutional transfers (transformations) compared to the distress of the adolescents and families welcomed in the “Point Ecoute” program. They show that, in a context of acting out, an approach aimed at the creation of containing spaces and containment spaces is necessary. They highlight the disorganizing effect produced in clinical settings by new forms of organizations and management, established on the basis of the so-called “auberge espagnole” model (or the potluck model).
