Type de matériel :

The authors of this paper draw on their clinical perspective as psychotherapists-psychoanalysts and on clinical practice with patients (two cases will be presented here) suffering from work-related stress to examine how the disaffectation to which the latter bear witness functions as an individual defence mechanism in the face of a violent situation, but is also a product of social and collective factors.
