Introduction: Acute hydrocephalus, vasospasm, rebleeding, and convulsions are serious features of aneurismal pathology and major factors in vital and functional prognosis. Knowing how to detect these complications is of paramount importance. Methods: This was a retrospective study conducted over a thirty-month period including all cases of subarachnoid hemorrhage with CT confirmation at the Befelatanana neurology unit. Results: Neurological complications of meningeal hemorrhage due to non-operated aneurysmal rupture were observed in 70.21% of cases. Vasospasm (60.6%) was the most common complication, followed by rebleeding (15.15%), convulsions (12.2%) and hydrocephalus (12.12%). Conclusion: Patients presenting with meningeal hemorrhage must be closely and rigorously monitored.
