G-spot injections: What is the situation in 2025?

Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2025. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : For nearly twenty years, volumizing substance injections into the G-spot have been performed on many patients who complained of orgasmic disorders, or even hypoactive sexual desire. However, there are very few studies, and a very low level of evidence supporting the effectiveness of this practice, despite its real cost for women, the risks linked to the procedure, the expected decline in results over time as the product disappears, the lack of marketing authorization for the injected product in this indication, and warnings from several learned societies against it. There is now an urgent need to assess these injections through a large-scale randomized controlled trial in order to determine whether or not such bodily modifications should be included in a comprehensive sexological strategy for the treatment of female anorgasmia.
