Par : Contributeur(s) : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2025. Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Although the street performance profession is one of the oldest, the health of professionals in this sector has long been ignored. The aim of this research is to explore the components of the work experience of street performers through a group interview with eight people. The thematic analysis carried out seeks to understand their perceptions of the resources and constraints of their work. The results show that the profession of street performer, with its great organizational autonomy, constant learning, direct perception of being useful to others, and belonging to a special profession, contributes to the meaning of the performers’ activity. In addition to these results, performers manage the constraints of their profession mainly through individual strategies such as family support. This study suggests investigating organizational avenues to support the performers’ profession.
