This literature review aims to synthesise the results of international publications relating to the understanding of teenage pregnancy and the provision of support for the teenage parents. Following the PRISMA method, the authors conducted a systematic analysis that revealed three main themes of understanding (typologies, the angle of narcissism and the angle of action) and three main themes of accompaniment (anchoring, continuity, and support). This synthesis thus contributes on one hand, on the “understanding” side, towards a better representation of the question and reveals the gaps in research on the subject, and, on the other hand, on the “support” side, towards showing how rare the relevant support models are.
