The epigraphic traces of Vintius in Vienne, France continue to breathe life into this enigmatic indigenous deity today. Worshipped by the city aristocracy since the beginning of the Empire, Vintius appears to be the titular god of the pagus of Diana located along the banks of the Rhone and Fier rivers. Invoked as Augusto Vintio or associated with Pollux, the inscriptions show us the multiple personalities of Vintius, object of a quasi-public cult fully immersed in the complexity and richness of the pantheon.
