This article examines the use of the evaluation tool developed by the Zentrum für angewandte Pastoralforschung (ZAP) at the University of Bochum, applying it to the Sainte-Julienne de Cornillon Sanctuary (Liège). Based on four criteria of ecclesial vitality, the tool offers a rich analysis, addressing aspects such as stakeholder responsibility and contextual adaptation. The study also highlights certain limitations of the tool, opening avenues for a more fruitful dialogue between pastoral evaluation and theological reflection.
