Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The appearance of places of “nature”, shared spaces that are also indicative of growing environmental inequalities, is a significant phenomenon of our time. This “greening” is not exclusively urban, but is also occurring in rural areas under urban influence, places where reemerging social complexity is very clear and brings a process of hybridization. We develop a study based on a thesis comparing the socio-spatial trajectories of two communes in the Eure-et-Loir region, with a view to showing that “nature” is a marker of socio-spatial inequalities in rural areas. Analysis of the first site shows the dual process of publicising and constructing environmental capital; the second, the importance of environmental inequalities in a productive area. These two examples show that “nature” is a reflection of territorial balances that can be different.
