Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : Artificial intelligence (AI) comes with so many ethical questions that fully describing them all is challenging! First, there is simply the risk of errant projects, of algorithms that destabilize a sector or a subject. Poorly implemented or managed cynically, they can get ugly. In terms of ecology and social justice, AI applications have a disastrous track record. In terms of public debate, AI destabilizes and offers influential groups new opportunities. A growing category of ethical issues concerns how AI captures our emotions. Some of these developments are not bad, but the risks are considerable. The loss of skills in relation to technology is also a textbook case. Having AI that writes and “thinks” for us is not in itself an incentive to use our brains. Systemic tools have to be introduced to address these risks: an ethics committee and regulations for certain uses. JEL classification: A1, D63, J24, O33.
