Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : This research looks at the factors that explain researchers’ entrepreneurial intentions and their propensity to use their research to create a company. Our analytical framework divides these factors into three categories, namely determinants linked to behavior, competence and context. Our methodology is based on a survey of a sample of researchers affiliated with the University of Le Mans. The results confirm the explanatory power of the three categories of determinants, with a predominance of behavioral factors. On a theoretical level, this study enriches the conceptual frameworks of academic entrepreneurship by highlighting the importance of behavioral variables and their interactions with the specific context of the academic ecosystem. On a practical level, it proposes concrete recommendations for academic institutions and decision-makers to strengthen the valorization of scientific research. JEL Codes: O30, O31, M10, M12, C12, C13
