L’article analyse la manière dont le dispositif conceptuel de la dynamique de l’action permet de comprendre les actions internes des corps vivants. Il s’agit, à partir du repérage de la distinction entre action violente et action formelle, de saisir le processus par lequel le champ expérimental peut être considéré comme une modalité de connaissance du vivant qui prenne en charge l’incertitude du savoir. La notion de certitude morale permet alors de saisir la dimension évolutive d’un savoir fondé sur les expériences.

Dynamics of Living BodiesThe article analyzes how the conceptual apparatus of the dynamics of action allows us to understand the internal actions of the living body. The study of the distinction between violent action and formal action is a way to grasp the process by which the experimental field may be regarded as a form of knowledge of life that supports uncertainty of knowledge. The notion of moral certainty then allows us to understand a leibnizian conception of the evolving knowledge, based on experiments.
