Nous tâcherons de comprendre le propos bien connu de Lacan à propos de l’inconscient japonais et les limites de son analysabilité.La thèse de Lacan nous permet d’aller dans la zone d’influence réciproque entre Lacan et Barthes. Ainsi, l’étude des propos de Lacan sur la langue japonaise et les idéogrammes permet d’introduire l’impact de l’écriture et la lettre dans la théorie de l’inconscient des années 1970.

The unconscious and the Japanese language in LacanWe’ll try to understand Lacan’s well known remarks about the Japanese unconscious and the limits of its analyzability. Lacan’s theses allow us to venture into the area of influence between Lacan and Roland Barthes. Thus his analysis of the Japanese language and ideograms will enable us to introduce the impact of writing and of the letter in his theory of the unconscious in the 1970’s.
