Rheumatology has its own history, as evidenced by a series of famous patients. The originality of this book is to have integrated rheumatology with art, history, literature, and even archaeology and enriched this material with comments from current data in the discipline. More than 100 clinical cases of famous people from our history have been analysed, presented, and illustrated with engravings and works of art, images in a catalogue built on the basis of a dialogue between a rheumatologist and art historian, which makes them original and fascinating reading.
