Journalism practiced by the pure players is increasingly studied. This article aims to analyze this "online journalism" from a primarily economic perspective. The model only reports a dynamic that affects primarily journalism: the economization of politics. An economization that can be seen / observed, among other things, in the emphasis on economic issues and the financial structure of the newspaper. The approach developed here seeks to combine three frames of reference: G. Mulhmann to understand the ideals, J. Duval, which focuses on the role of the economy in the processing of information and finally Foucault through his concepts of biopower and bioeconomy. By offering an original analysis of pure players, the objective is to shed additional light on the many ongoing works on this topical subject.
