Impeded mourning. Supporting the bereaved in the context of a pandemic

Par : Type de matériel : TexteTexteLangue : français Détails de publication : 2022. Sujet(s) : Ressources en ligne : Abrégé : The COVID-19 pandemic has exposed the world to countless deaths occurring in a very particular context, with funeral rituals being impeded by COVID-19 restrictions. For the bereaved, this situation leads to specific manifestations of grief that inevitably challenge our practices and require us to rethink our methods of support in order to limit the risk of this grief becoming complicated and leading to psychopathological disorders. In this article, we present a reflection based on our clinical practice with bereaved people who may or may not have been affected by death during this pandemic.
