Recent cognitive and neuroscientific studies on near-death experiences: Contribution of the Coma Science Group
Type de matériel :
23
This article aims to highlight recent and empirical research on near-death experiences (NDEs), through cognitive and neuroscientific approaches. The Coma Science Group is one of the most prolific in the field. Their research is organized around two axes: The first centered on the phenomenology of experience; the other on the psychological characteristics of experiencers. The goal is, on the one hand, to extract predictive factors of their occurrence in the population, and on the other hand, to identify their cerebral, cognitive, and psychological mechanisms.
