Facial reconstruction in forensic identification. Objective criteria of resemblance
Type de matériel :
57
Facial reconstruction (FR) is an anthropological technique that allows the reconstruction of a face from a skull. It is used for identification purposes when all other methods have failed. However, it is necessary to be able to identify corpses with certainty. The reconstructed face must have a resemblance to the face of one or more missing persons. Scientifically, we cannot introduce any subjective elements and the methods must be reproducible and tangible.
