Later, when I am dead . . . or the fantasy of a life free from suffering after death
Type de matériel :
62
Some patients hospitalized in psychiatric wards after attempting suicide express a singular discourse in which death is seen as a solution to their intolerable suffering. Their decision to commit suicide is not about ending their life, but rather about creating a new life free from suffering. The hospital psychologist’s job is to support them in continuing their chosen journey along the banks of the River Styx.
