Entre promesse de performance et crainte d’obsolescence humaine, l’intelligence artificielle (IA) suscite aujourd’hui de nombreux discours contrastés. Cet éditorial invite les sciences de gestion et du management à adopter une posture critique. Il propose de dépasser toute forme de techno-déterminisme et de regarder comment l’IA est produite par et pour des organisations. Les articles de ce numéro spécial interrogent, en ce sens, la fabrication de l’IA, ses usages concrets et ses représentations par les acteurs.

Between promises of performance and fears of human obsolescence, artificial intelligence (AI) is currently the subject of intense debate. This editorial calls on the management sciences to adopt a critical stance. It proposes moving beyond all forms of techno-determinism and examining how AI is produced by and for organizations. The articles in this special issue explore the development of this technology, its practical uses, and the representations of AI held by stakeholders.
