Type de matériel :
93
This article discusses governance issues for non-profit organizations involved in the fight against abuse toward the elderly by reflecting on volunteer action. This analysis is based on a case study of five organizations active in this sector. It mobilizes interviews with volunteers, staff, and seniors (sixty-four participants), as well as socio-demographic questionnaires and organizational literature. While some organizations adopt a posture of advocacy that values the simultaneous commitment of volunteers within the administrative and operational streams, others separate these roles for governance performance.
